Undecided?
If you would like to pre-pay for a tour, but haven't yet decided on which trip you'll choose, we are happy to accept prepayment which we will hold as a credit in your name and apply it to the tour when you're ready to sign up. This prepayment is YOUR money and will be held separately, not as part of our regular operating budget.
TRIP CANCELLATION & MEDICAL INSURANCE
We strongly encourage all travelers to purchase trip cancellation and medical insurance. Even if you are in excellent health, unexpected illness or injury can happen, and having insurance can help protect your investment.
Depending on the policy and the reason for cancellation, trip insurance may reimburse your trip costs if you are unable to travel. You must file a claim directly with the insurance company, and coverage is subject to the terms, conditions, and exclusions of the policy.
If you are not insured and need to cancel your trip on short notice, it may be impossible for us to find a replacement, and you could lose some or all of your trip payment.
We will purchase a policy online for you through AIG Travel Guard within two weeks of receiving your first deposit, unless you prefer to purchase a policy independently.
Other reputable companies, including Allianz, also offer travel insurance options.
The cost of a policy is generally based on the total trip cost and the traveler’s age.
If you choose not to purchase trip insurance, we will require you to sign a waiver declining coverage.
