Eligibility
Vacationers needing 1:1 full care
We are not able to provide this level of assistance in most cases. Contact us for more specific information. All clients must be able to get in and out of a
12 passenger full-sized van without any lifting. Should a client require a 1:1, he/she can sometimes bring a personal PCA for an additional 70% of tour cost plus airfares. We cannot accommodate 1:1 needs that are due to verbal or physical aggressions.
Staff ratios for 1:2
Client must be ambulatory. We will assist with prompts and with toileting and other cares, and can provide a wheelchair for distances. Client must be able to get in and out of a full-sized van without having to be lifted. This is to protect the client and the staff.
Staff ratios for 1:4
Vacationer must be independent in most cares
(dressing, bathing, orals). We will always be there for med administration and money management. Vacationer must be fully ambulatory at a normal pace, without mobility aids.
