What's Included

If you are a smoker, please note that we do not make stops for smoking. If you choose to stop during one of our normal stops for meals or to use the toilet, you must be smoke-clear for at least five minutes before re-entering the van. You must dispose of your butts properly, not on the ground or in your pocket. 

Absolutely no open package of food or open beverages in the van except water. Any food that is spilled on the floor attracts insects and rodents so it's not allowed. Between trips, the van is usually parked on our family farm and is very vulnerable to unwanted "critters." 

Airfare, snacks between meals or desserts, spending money for souvenirs. 

Some people prefer to shower at night, some in the morning. We'll try to arrange it so that everyone has time for a daily shower without having to wait a long time. 

If your application indicates that you are allowed to drink alcohol, we will need to know exactly how much, and how often. We seldom have access to alcoholic beverages during the tours, but if this is allowed, we will follow the rules set by your agency or guardians. Please know that we discourage it, but we will not prohibit you from doing something you're allowed to do as long as it doesn't affect our schedule or activities. 

We provide three meals daily. Desserts or expensive beverages like smoothies or milk shakes (or alcohol, IF you are allowed to drink) are additional. All activities listed in our itinerary are included, as well as ground transportation, lodging (double or triple occupancy), staff assistance for medication, money management, prompts, or other assistance as needed.

Common courtesy is the simple policy. No TV or computer use that others can see or hear during the night, everyone in the room must be able to sleep during regular sleeping hours. If you wake up early, please don't leave the room until staff comes in for morning routines. We leave for hotel breakfasts together, after everyone is up and ready.
